Holiday Rental Cottage Description |
The gîte is situated in the hamlet of Palaizot in the commune of Chissey-en-Morvan. Palaizot is in the department of Saône-et-Loire. The river Ternin, bordered by green meadows, flows southwards down the valley past the hamlet. Palaizot nestles against the south facing side of the valley and is ringed all around by the wooded hills of the Morvan. A pleasant hamlet in an idyllic situation.
In the country- side immediately surrounding the gîte there are many walks on footpaths and track ways these allow ample opportunity to observe the local plants and animals in their natural environ- ment. For those wishing to sample the pleasures of the vineyards, the historic towns and villages of Burgundy, Palaizot is ideally situated. The shopping centres of Saulieu and Autun are within easy driving distance.
he gîte is a small house that will comfortably accommodate two to three people. There is ample off road parking in a secure and totally enclosed garden. The accommodation consists of a large, oak beamed living room containing two arm chairs, a comfortable 2 person settee, a dining table with four chairs, a colour television and a wood burning stove. There is a fitted corner kitchen, this is equipped with a mini cooker, four electric hotplates, microwave/oven, fridge, double sink and all the usual electrical equipement. A double bedroom also includes a childs bed, an "en suite" shower room with multi jet shower and W.C and vanity unit. A utility room which houses another W.C., the washing machine, the freezer, a barbecue and the other household essentials. There is also room to house coats and walking boots. There is a terrace with cast garden furniture. The gîte is furnished to our normally high standard using quality furniture and equipment. |
