This one bedroom lovely bijou apartment forms part of a recent refurbishment of a classical building, on the Rue de France (close to Hotel Negresco) in central Nice. The accommodation offers a one bedroom apartment sleeping two with a further two berths available from the superior quality sofa bed available in the lounge. The apartment is towards the side of the building offering quiet accommodation in the day and getting the sun in the afternoon and evening, and is situated on the second floor with a marble hallway (including lift) and feature staircase leading from the Rue de France. Situated on the second floor of the luxurious conversion the Rue de France, the apartment is accessed via the street into a classic marble hallway with feature staircase and lift to all floors. Upon reaching the second floor the apartment is found to the side of the building and off the main street yet getting the sun in the afternoon and evening. Upon entering the apartment there is a hallway with solid oak flooring and access to a brand new high quality bathroom offering WC, sink, heated towel rail, and shower cubicle incorporating a power shower. At the end of the hall is the main living accommodation comprising: - A fully fitted kitchen including fridge, microwave oven, 4 ring cooker and washing machine. - Dining area with cast iron tiled table and chairs - A sitting area with a convertible sofa bed (with hotel quality mattress), TV, DVD player and CD stereo - Wall heaters for the winter and air conditioning system for the summer Off the living accommodation is the main bedroom comprising modular twin beds (which link together to form a double bed) and a large fitted wardrobe offering substantial storage space. In addition the wardrobe contains an electronic combination safe. The apartment comes complete with all bed linen, kitchen and dining utensils. Nice is easily accessible by an international airport only 20 minutes from central Nice. The following 'Low Cost Airlines' offer flights from the UK locations From airport via Taxi: The apartment is a 15 minute taxi journey from terminal 1 at Nice Airport and should cost around 15 Euros. From airport via Bus: The apartment is also only a 15 minute journey via an affordable regular bus service from terminal 1 along the Promenade Des Anglais with buses leaving every 10 minutes. The buses themselves are modern and comfortable with plenty of luggage space. To ride the bus you buy a daily ticket for 4 Euros per person which has the benefit of giving you a full days unlimited travel around the Nice area. The Cote d'azur also known as the French Riviera stretches along the Mediterranean coast from Toulon to the Italian border. Many towns along the coast- Nice, Monaco, Antibes, Cannes, and St Tropez are well known as the playgrounds of the rich, famous and tanned, and publicised in films and glossy magazines. From the Station: The apartment is in walking distance (there is a link to a printable map above) from the Gare De Nice, or alternatively a taxi costs around 15 Euros. An additional charge of £12 per person per stay is charged for bed linen and towel hire. A Non-refundable deposit of 20% is required on reservation and FULL payment is required a minimum of EIGHT weeks prior to the stay.
